Discover Olmsted’s Connecticut Ride, Sun Sept 25th

Bike Walk CT is hosting the next Discover CT Tour on September 25th with a focus on the 200th anniversary of Fredrick Law Olmsted’s birth in Hartford. Olmsted, the pioneering landscape architect who laid out New York’s Central Park, was a Hartford native who planned many projects in CT. He designed Walnut Hill Park in New Britain, where the tour will start and end. A collaboration between Bike New Britain and BWCT, the Discover Olmsted’s CT bicycle tour will showcase sites in Central CT that Olmsted designed or where he had life milestones. With 10-, 25-, and 50-mile routes there are options for everyone! There are many ways to get involved — visit Bike Walk CT to register as a participant, volunteer, or sponsor.
