Hoboken, a community with a population the size of West Hartford, has had 0 traffic fatalities in the past 4 years, during the same timeframe when these fatalities grew significantly elsewhere across the nation. Strategies such as reconfiguring intersections, retiming crosswalk signals, and educating the community has yielded major improvements.
