Michael Walsh reports in this Oct 17th CT Insider article that the Town of West Hartford has extended the comment period to Oct 28th for public feedback on the interactive map created by the Stantec consulting group for the West Hartford Center Infrastructure Plan project, and also this separate survey form. Walsh writes:
Dozens of ideas and suggestions were placed on an interactive map provided by the town’s consultant, Stantec, for LaSalle Road and the intersection at Farmington Avenue and Main Street… In both areas, suggestions heavily leaned toward the topics of pedestrian and bike access, as well as road design… A popular idea, as evidenced by the frequency it appeared, is to at least partially shut down LaSalle Road to vehicular traffic… “Consider making LaSalle pedestrian only,” read the most-liked suggestion on the map.Â
