Get outdoors and celebrate the 2024 Summer Reading Theme “Adventure Begins at Your Library” with a fun 6-mile bike ride starting at ending at the Noah Webster Library! Open to teens ages 13+ and adults!
Participants must register online, with an adult signing a waiver, to join our free and fun West Hartford Public Library Teen Bike Ride on Saturday June 22nd 2024, co-sponsored with Bike West Hartford. Helmets are also required to be worn during the ride. Rain date is Saturday, June 29.
Meet up at 11am at the Noah Webster Library rear entrance (near Isham Road and Barnes & Noble bookstore). After brief introductions and a safety check, we will roll out by 11:15am, and return by 12:30pm.
Our group bike ride is designed to be fun and open to all skill levels, rolling at a friendly pace of 10-12 mph, with no one left behind.Bring any type of bicycle in good condition, a bike helmet, and a water bottle.

Explore our 6-mile route, heading two blocks east, north on the Trout Brook Trail, looping around Elizabeth Park, and back to the library.
