Michael Walsh reports in the Sept 17th edition of CT Insider that the Town of West Hartford will receive $1.5 million in state bond funds to reconstruct Park Road. He writes:
John Paindiris, who owns Effie’s Place Family Restaurant on Park Road and is president of the Park Road Association, said these upgrades are much-needed…. Park Road Bike lanes don’t stretch into the heart of the business and commercial section of Park Road. They end once a rider reaches Quaker Lane South. Paindiris said the addition of more bike lanes, and the other mentioned upgrades, will make the area more accessible. Read the full story.
