Volunteer for the CTfastrak Trail Count!
Bike West Hartford is helping the UConn CT Trail Census find volunteers for a quick, important data collection task on the CTfastrak multi-use trail.
Why it matters: Collecting accurate visitor data is crucial for securing grants, planning maintenance, and understanding the trail’s local economic benefit.
The task is easy: We need volunteers (including students needing community service or local groups!) to spend about 10 hours total per year (in one-hour shifts or more) near the counter to manually count passers-by. Detailed instructions and training are provided! This specific counter desperately needs help.
