Trout Brook Trail Family-Friendly Ride, Sat Nov 2nd

Please register online ahead of time to join our free, fun, and family-friendly Trout Brook Trail bike ride on Saturday November 2nd 2024, hosted by Bike West Hartford.

Meet up at 12 noon at University of Saint Joseph parking lot J on Asylum Avenue, near the northern tip of the Trout Brook Trail. After brief introductions and a safety check, we roll out by 12:15pm.

To ensure a safe ride for everyone, when leaving the USJ parking lot, we will bike a short distance on the sidewalk along Asylum Avenue (which lacks a left-turn lane), and use the crosswalk to enter the Trout Brook Trail separated multi-use path.

Check out the newest trail section between Park Road and Jackson Ave!

End around 12:45pm with the option to buy food and drinks at The GastroPark, 637 New Park Ave (across from BiCiCo West).

Our group bike ride is designed to be fun and open to all skill levels, rolling at a friendly pace of 10-12 mph, with no one left behind.

Bring any type of bicycle in good condition, a bike helmet, water bottle, and money if you wish to buy food or drinks at the end.

This is a one-way ride. You can return on the same path on your own, or ask another cyclist to ride back with you.
