Updated: Short video of our Thanksgiving 2022 food donation ride to the Free Center
Bike West Hartford is partnering with Hartford Bike Party and the Free Center for a Thanksgiving Food Donation Bike Ride. Meet up on Sunday November 20th at 1pm at Parkville Market (1400 Park Street, Hartford) and dress warmly for a 5-mile slow roll (around 10 mph). Pack non-perishable foods and baby formula into your panniers and backpacks. Together we’ll ride to fill up three little food pantries in Hartford’s Frog Hollow neighborhood, with a final stop at the Free Center (460 New Britain Avenue). That Sunday afternoon, the Free Center is hosting a food drive from 1-4pm in partnership with Healing from the Root and North End Little Pantries (NELP) Formula 4 Families. Come and join us!
