The Bike West Hartford chapter ”Cycling Without Age” focuses on regaining mobility, creating stronger communities, and building friendship across generations. Most of all it is about ”The Right to Wind in Your Hair.”
Volunteer pilots give free rickshaw rides to elderly people in nursing homes or senior centers. Rides are handled through a simple booking system as often as the volunteers have motivation and time. Destinations can be parks, nature or a ride down ’memory lane’ all done in a safe and secure manner. Learn more on the Cycling without Age West Hartford Facebook page
