Special invitation for all school principals, PE instructors, PTO members, and youth group leaders! Learn how to organize an easy-to-run bike safety workshop for your school or youth group. Come see it in action at Charter Oak International Academy public elementary school on Friday May 9th 2025 (rain date May 16th). Bike West Hartford volunteers will set up our active learning stations with free bike helmets at 12 noon in the bus circle for four classrooms of 3rd grade students from 12:30-2:30pm. All of our learning materials are freely available to download at https://bikewesthartford.org/safety, with support from a $5,000 Active Transportation Microgrant from CTDOT and CRCOG.
