The West Hartford chapter of Cycling Without Age, sponsored primarily by Bike West Hartford, Inc., is now partnering with AVIVA Senior Living at Hamilton Heights, West Hartford. Volunteer pilots offer free rides on our trishaw (a three-wheel electric-assist rickshaw or pedicab) to help people with limited mobility “feel the wind in their hair.” AVIVA staff assist residents with scheduling rides and safely boarding the trishaw, which they store inside their facilitiy. Thank you to WH CWA chapter leader Kevin Sullivan and AVIVA Activities Director Maureen Browne-Springer for making this connection.
