Register online to join our Bike West Hartford to New Britain ride, Saturday Oct 14th 2023 (after the marathon).
Join our group bike ride, fun and open to all skill levels, rolling at a friendly pace of 10-12 mph, with no one left behind. Our 7-mile one-way route follows a portion of the Trout Brook Trail, then along the shoulder of Newington Road, then the CT Fastrak Multi-Use Trail to downtown New Britain.
12 noon start at BiCiCo West community bike shop, 616 New Park Ave, WH (across from Trout Brook Trail)
12:45pm visit Bike New Britain community bike shop, 39 Bank St, New Britain
1pm end of ride and optional lunch at Five Churches Brewing, 193 Arch St, New Britain
Bring any bicycle in good condition, a water bottle, and money if you wish to buy lunch. This is a one-way ride (meaning some people may stick around for a longer lunch than others) and participants are responsible for getting back on their own or with a friend, OR bring $2 to ride the CT fastrak 101 bus back to the Elmwood Station (next to BiCiCo West) and roll your bike on board!
