Transport Hartford announces the premiere screening of “The Street Project” film at Real Art Ways, 56 Arbor Street in Hartford, on Thursday September 1st at 7pm. Entrance ticket is $8 and proceeds benefit the Center for Latino Progress.
| Produced by Hartford-based film-maker Jennifer Boyd and distributed by PBS International and Amazon Prime, this documentary explores the work of pedestrian and cyclist activists in New York, Phoenix, and Copenhagen. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on bike and pedestrian safety with Dr. Mary Donegan (UConn), Grace Yi (City of Hartford), and Kerri Ana Provost (Real Hartford) while long-time bike and pedestrian advocate Doug Hausladen will be the moderator.
