Register online for Jack’s Sweet Send-Off Ride on Saturday, September 27, 2025–meet at 10:15am, roll out at 10:30am! Jack Dougherty has been instrumental in making Bike West Hartford what it is today. He’s made West Hartford a better place for all of us, and we’ll miss him greatly.
Our 10-mile group bike ride is designed to be fun (stops for sweets and pastries!) and open to all skill levels, rolling at a friendly pace of 10-12 mph, with no one left behind.
Bring any type of bike in good condition, wear a bike helmet, bring a full water bottle, and money if you wish to buy food or drinks at the end at Gastropark, or pastries at one of our stops:
- Ride Start 10:30am (please arrive earlier): Gastropark
- First stop: Abrantes Bakery and Pastry Shop
- Second Stop: Yemerica Coffee
- Third Stop: Taste by Spellbound
- Ride End (around 12:30pm for lunch): Gastropark
Meet up 10:15am at Gastropark (637 New Park Avenue, West Hartford) for introductions and safety check, and roll out by 10:30am.
Our loop includes a mix of separated bike paths, bike lanes, and streets without bike lanes.
End around 12:30pm at The GastroPark (637 New Park Avenue), and bring money if you wish to buy food or drink.
Let’s hope for good weather because there is NO RAIN DATE for this event.
