We want to take a moment to thank the Town of West Hartford for taking real, tangible steps toward making our streets safer for everyone.
In recent weeks, we’ve seen quick builds pop up across town, first prioritizing school zones. These are small-scale, fast-deployed, and cheap safety improvements that are already making a difference. Numerous additional raised crosswalks and speed tables have also been installed or are planned for installation this summer. These changes show a strong commitment to the principles of Vision Zero — our community’s goal of eliminating traffic-related deaths and serious injuries.

This is a great beginning — and momentum matters. If you support a safer and more walkable West Hartford for all, please consider taking a minute to send a quick thank you email to the Town. Your voice reinforces how much these changes matter to residents.
Please email your thanks to:

Let’s keep working together toward a West Hartford where everyone can move safely through our community.
With gratitude,
Bike West Hartford
